My Name is Mia, I'm majoring in Com Des, and I'm a junior.

2. Tell us a bit about your background and what prompted you to take this class.

I've always struggled with the tech-related things in my life, so I'm excited to learn a little more about how websites work. Also, as a designer I'd like to understand the back end that supports my work

3. Do you have any experience with HTML/CSS/JS? If so, tell us a bit about it.

I don't have any experince.

4. Name one thing you hope to learn in this class.

I'd like to learn what makes coding languages different from each other.

What I see is not what I get. The text I type looks different from what shows up on the website.

https://www.zara.com/us/ The large images on Zara's website are nice to look at, and they make me want to stay on the site and buy their products.

https://www.ocasiocortez.com/ I think the text on AOC's website is in sizes and fonts that are easy to read. The way the page is organized also communicates a clear hierarchy

https://www.amazon.com/ I think amazon's website works well because their platform is easy to use and encourages me to buy things by trying to predict what I will want.
